Without the beauty, that is, the radiant glory in which
potential immortality is made manifest in the human world,
all human life would be futile and no greatness could endure.*
Welcome to the PANACEUM Implantology and Aesthetic Stomatology Centre website.
The Panaceum centre was established in 1997. Love of the beauty was present in our daily work from the very beginning. Beauty is something invariably associated with art – for centuries artists, poets and writers have been recounting their ideas of the beauty. Equally invariably it is the human being who is depicted as beautiful in the art. Invariably, yet extremely differently – for how can you compare Botticelli’s Venus with Picasso’s beauties?
As Umberto Eco said, twentieth century brought to us "an orgy of tolerance, the total syncretism and the absolute and unstoppable polytheism of Beauty." There is no single aesthetic ideal anymore. Today we are enchanted equally with natural beauty and with the artificial one, closely resembling the natural.
A beautiful smile can be ideally symmetric, with mouth corners imitating Greek statues, discreetly charming everyone around. However, a beautiful smile can be a balance of extremities as well, creating personal charm out of tiny irregularities of placement or shape of the teeth.
Finding individual beauty in a blend of symmetry, harmony, proportions, colours, resplendence, light and contrast is a real art. The beauty is not hidden in consecutive elements, it is created as a continuous whole instead. A smile corresponds with the shine of the eyes, the colour of the skin, dimples in the cheeks or playful wrinkles.
So, what we are looking for is not just the beautiful smile, but a smile perfectly matched to a face and personality. Such an ambitious goal requires flawless planning and execution of the treatment. That’s why a place was needed capable of integrating all actions concerned with dentistry, from complex diagnostics to most intricated implants. A friendly place for the patients requiring general anesthesia and a jolly place for the children. Like adventurers searching for lost fortunes, asking for directions and groping our way in the darkness, we looked for dreamed edifice. Thus, one day we arrived at the gates of a palace at Pużak street – an ideal localisation for PANACEUM.
I trust that the passion we feel for stomatology, our joy of creation and constant strive for the ideal does find its reflection in the smiles of our patients.
We are not going to present myths to you and promise the impossible, but we will do our best to make all your dreams come true.
We invite you cordially to PANACEUM. We will make every effort to offer you a beautiful healthy smile. We will also try to make your visit in PANACEUM comfortable and pleasant.
Beauty is truth, truth beauty ...**
