Using our skills and experience as well as the latest technologies, here at PANACEUM we also make every effort to save the most decayed teeth. Caries developing in a healthy tooth or under a loose filling may attack the tooth's soft tissue commonly known as the nerve.
In such cases endodontic treatment should be undertaken. It consists in pulling out the bacteria infected nerves from the dental tubules - this treatment is completely painless as it is carried out under anaesthesia - and then broadening and disinfecting the tubules by means of appropriate chemical agents and filling them with fluid gutta-percha. A properly performed root canal treatment allows patients to maintain their own teeth. It is difficult to carry out a root canal treatment properly without suitable equipment. For instance, thanks to an electronically controlled operational microscope, it is possible to find all tubule openings, which are frequently invisible for the naked eye. It is only in 25-fold magnification that the patency of curved or obliterated tubules can be restored. Their restoration without a microscope is practically impossible, which dooms the tooth to extraction. An endometer allows the dentist to determine the length of the tubules and to prepare them safely to be filled, and the BeeFill device makes it possible to heat the gutta-percha to an appropriate temperature and to apply it to the tubules. The root canal treatment is carried out with the help of X-rays.
We know how important our dentition is and that is why we make every effort to save every tooth. Our doctors participate in specialist training courses constantly improving their qualifications and broadening their knowledge. Thanks to that, we are able to respond effectively to the most difficult challenges.
